David Patrick Golden, a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, and the rock of his family, passed away on November 28th, 2025, at 8:40:48 PM, peacefully in the loving care of his daughter Sydney’s home, surrounded by family.
David dedicated his life to providing for his loved ones. For 40 years in Florida, he not only built homes as a framer and contractor with David Golden Construction, but he built a life of security, love, and joy for his family. Through his tireless work, determination, and generosity, he ensured that his children, grandchildren, and even extended family could enjoy the blessings of a stable, happy life.
He found joy in simple pleasures, boating, fishing, gardening, riding his John Deere tractor, enjoying Mexican food and barbecue, watching football, and cracking jokes that often embarrassed his daughters. Yet behind the humor was a man of deep love, pride, and unwavering support for every member of his family.
David married his beloved wife, Faustina, on Valentine’s Day in 1987. Together they raised two daughters, Courtney and Sydney. Rodney, his firstborn from a previous marriage, was deeply loved, respected, and a source of immense pride. David cherished his grandchildren, Cana, Lydia, Aldous, Addisyn, Trent, and Turner, and delighted in every moment spent with them.
David’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion. He was a steady hand, a kind heart, and a guiding force for all who knew him. His life was full, his heart was big, and he will be deeply missed, but the life he built and the love he gave will continue to shine through his family forever.
Luke 8:48 ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace’. David endured his illnesses with faith and courage. His daughter Sydney lovingly supported him through it all, carrying with her the memory of his unwavering love and gentle spirit.
