David Ray Fowler's Obituary
David Ray Fowler, 75, of Eustis, FL., passed away on April 15, 2026, at the AdventHealth - Waterman Hospital in Tavares, FL. following an extended illness. He was born on September 4,1950, in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Robert P. Fowler and Mary “Muff” Morrison Fowler. He is also preceded in death by his wife Denise June Bokey Fowler. Dave is survived by his sister, Robin Fowler Ridgway, husband Barry, and brother, Dan Fowler, wife Cindy (Bowers) Fowler, many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his fiancée, Jeannetta Bruso.
Dave is a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School in Clarksburg, WV, class of 1968. Soon after graduation he moved to Florida, where he eventually spent over half of his life. His first job was at the new Disney World. He then worked at the Crown Cork & Seal Company’s manufacturing plant producing cans for citrus fruit. Dave then became an HVAC technician. His final job, the one that brought him the most personal satisfaction, was teaching future HVAC technicians at a technical school in Mt. Dora. He very much enjoyed challenging the students with practical situations and solutions to prepare them for their future jobs.
Dave loved raising horses, dogs, and fishing. He also liked farming, listening to live music, and dancing. No one was a stranger to Dave, as he was always comfortable striking up a conversation with anyone/anywhere.
You will be greatly missed, but we will see you again as Jesus promised.
