Darlene B. Garner's Obituary
Darlene B. Garner of Leesburg passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 67 years. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to the Lake County area in 1959. Darlene, with her husband Ernie, are the owners of Garner Jewelers in Leesburg. Darlene, affectionately known to her friends as “Dar” loved flowers. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She was also an animal lover. Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Gail Baker and her step-son, Scott Edward Garner. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 32 years, Ernie Garner; parents, Carrol and Phoebe Baker of Eustis; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Erin Smith of Umatilla; son, Jody Baker of Eustis; step-daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jerry Moody of Newland, North Carolina; sister, Cindy C. Seebaugh of Leesburg; niece, Christina (Mike) Patterson of Leesburg; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis.
