Dalton H. Sperrey's Obituary
Dalton H. Sperrey, age 81, of Eustis, passed away October 7, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. Dalton was born on April 20, 1937 to Guilford and Inez (Dodge) Sperrey of Washburn, Maine. He was married to Elizabeth (Betsy) Valley on July 21, 1955. They shared 53 years together. They attended the Zellwood Church of God together for several years. She preceded him in death in November of 2012.
Dalton loved a good bargain and was known to dicker the price of any object that he considered purchasing. He also loved good food.
Dalton is survived by daughter Christine and her husband Nicholas Orchard of Mt. Dora, daughter Candace and her husband Dwayne Johnston of Eustis, daughter Melony and her husband Jonathon Bailey of Tavares, brother Daryl Sperrey of Washburn, Maine, and sister Glenna Sperrey also of Washburn, Maine, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Dalton was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four brothers.
A graveside service will be held at the Tavares Cemetery in Tavares, Florida on October 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM
