Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Hampy's Obituary
Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Hampy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 3, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. She was 66 years old. Born on June 2, 1959, in Waterbury, Connecticut, Cindy moved to Florida in February of 1980, where she built a beautiful life rooted in love, creativity, and family.
A longtime resident of Eustis, Florida, Cindy was known for her vibrant spirit, passion for travel, and exceptional taste in music. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, attending every event and milestone with unwavering support and pride. She proudly dedicated over 25 years to her career at Morgan Stanley, starting by answering phones at the local office in Eustis to becoming a VP Risk Officer.
On April 20, 1985, Cindy married the love of her life, Brian Arthur Hampy, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Orlando. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Alfio and Santa Giacomi, and her brother, Robert Giacomi.
She is survived by her husband and devoted children, Danielle (Marc) Mathis and Samantha (Sean) Kane; her cherished grandchildren, Eli, Alek, Austin, Emrik, Warren, and Carter; and her loving siblings, Jack (Monica) Giacomi, Linda Giacomi, and Thomas Giacomi.
Cindy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her personality, warmth, and dedication to family and friends will be remembered always.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
