Craig E. Haun's Obituary
Craig E. Haun 57, of Eustis, fell asleep in the Lord on November 24, 2014. He was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Craig was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando. He was formerly the Fire Chief for the City of Eustis, the Senior Director of Fire and Emergency Services for Lake County and recently retired as Fire Chief for the City of Lake Mary, Florida. Prior to moving to Florida he was the Assistant Chief of the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department in Franklin, Pennsylvania. He had been a member the Rotary Club of Eustis and a Lifetime member of the NRA. Craig was the Past President of the Florida Fire Chief’s Association and the Central Florida Fire Chief’s Association. He was a certified Instructor at the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. He is survived by his wife Maria; they were married for 38 years. Also surviving are his children; Matthew (Angela) Haun of Jefferson, Georgia, Kara Miller of Eustis, son-in-law Dan Miller of Eustis, grandchildren; Zachary Ryan Miller, Ty Austin Miller, Ashton Kayle Miller, Chandler Jacoby Haun and Henry Andrew Haun, his parents; Charles and Joan Haun of Eustis, sister Karen (John) Grill of Grand Island, brother-in-law; Nick (Shirley) Koulianos of Lafayette, Alabama and his niece Alisha Grill of Mount Dora. The family will receive friends in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando, 1217 Trinity Woods Ln, Maitland, FL 32751, on Friday, Nov. 28th from 5 until 8 PM. Trisagion Services will be held at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will also be held in the Church on Saturday Nov. 29 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Mary Cemetery 240 Greenleaf Lane, Lake Mary, Florida. All attending are invited to a luncheon at the church after the interment. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to Iconography Fund at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
