Claude Stockton's Obituary
Claude Stockton 93, of Fruitland Park, passed away on October 13, 2014. He was a retired Real Estate Broker/ Salesman and a retired NASA Resources Management Specialist.
He was a native of Amory, Mississippi; he attended public schools there and Mississippi State University. Claude was a Navy Veteran of World War II and during his Federal civilian career served as the Budget and Fiscal Officer of the Army’s Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, as the Deputy Finance and Accounting Officer of the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps in Washington, D.C., and as the Director of Financial Management at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville when the Center was established in 1960.
He was a Methodist a member of Kiwanis International and an Emeritus Life Associate of the National Association of Accountants.
He is survived by his wife June, they were married for 54 years. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Thursday, November 20th at 2 PM.
