The passing of a loved one is one of the hardest things we, as a human beings, must experience. What makes it difficult is the realization that only the memories shared will be at reach. As a co-worker, I remember my first encounter with this tall guy who looked at me, as I sized him up. He recognize what I was doing, so he smiled, nodded his head and proceeded with his day. I was left with this thought: well, I have had an encounter with "A Gentle Giant." I pray that my experience shed a little laughter in your sorrow as I deeply extend my condolences to the family and friends that shared a life of memories with this Gentle Giant.
