I always had a huge soft spot for my Aunt Tina. I was only 7 years old when we left Sinclaireville NY, but I have several snippets of memories of Tina before they and then we moved to Florida. One of those was when Tina hosted Brownie (Girl Scout) meetings at her house. For some reason she also had charge of me at that time (I was probably 3-4 years old) and I was so proud to be an honorary Brownie at her meetings. I also remember staying with my family at the Tilyou house in Tampa after they first moved to Florida. The house was a few blocks from a drive-in theater and we would lay in their back yard and watch movies without hearing any sound. I have many memories of Tina and Warren when they lived in the house next door in Safety Harbor, Tina had a Cocker Spaniel named Buff that she loved. I think she always had one or more dogs the entire time that I knew her. She was always so sweet and caring. When my own children visited her home in Cassadaga area, she invited them up for an afternoon to learn how to paint rocks for decorations. They loved it and it remained a really good memory for them forever. I enjoyed playing golf with Tina and Warren in on the Cassadaga course and I could tell that she loved the game, always trying to keep up with her little sister Linnea who was the club champion for many years. Some of my most favorite memories are when my Mother, Betty and Tina and Linnea were together. They were always doing something goofy. I used to kid them that the three of them shared a single brain and nobody ever knew who had that brain at any given time.
I will forever miss your time on Earth Tina. You were a loving and good person and the world could use more people like you.
Your loving nephew,
Randy
