Christina "Christie" Michelle Jenkins' Obituary
Christina “Christie” Jenkins of Umatilla, Florida passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 47. She was born in Pahokee, Florida, but has lived locally for most of her life. Christie was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle lover and driver. She also was an extremely hard worker who showed love to everyone she met. She worked as a sales manager at Deal Time in Ocala, Florida, and spent her time supporting homeless veterans anyway she could. Even driving home, she was known for always stopping to offer money and support to people who were homeless on the side of the road.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Edmond H. and Marylin L. Jenkins, as well as Walter and Sadie King. Christie will be dearly missed by her mother Elizabeth Jenkins Adkison and father William A. Adkison; parents Douglas (Debra) King of Gainesville, Florida, and Richard (Tina) Sanderson of Ocklawaha, Florida; sister Naomi Lynn (Travis) McCord of Ocala, Florida; brothers Albert King of Gainesville, Florida and Michael King; son Dalton Hunter Jenkins of Umatilla, Florida; daughter Alisa Naomie Jenkins of Umatilla, Florida; grandson Jaxon Hunter Jenkins; and her 6 nieces and nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a future date to be decided by the family. Please check back for updates.
