Charles R. Whitfield's Obituary
Charles R. Whitfield II, 69, of Sorrento passed away in Sanford on Tuesday April 14, 2009. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and moved here from DeFuniak Springs, Florida in 1991. He was a Christian and was a self employed General Contractor. Mr. Whitfield is survived by his wife Helen; his children Debbie (Michael) Tucker of Interlachen, Florida; David (Debra) Marler of Umatilla, Florida; Cheri (Tony) Scanlon of California; Charles (Michelle) Whitfield of Raleigh, North Carolina, Helen (Randy) Burres of Grand Island, Florida, Chane (Lorrie) Whitfield of Mount Dora, Florida. He was predeceased by one son Charles R. Whitfield III. He also is survived by his brothers Joe of Marianna, Florida; Bobby of Idaho; Clifford of Marianna; a sister Gail Karlo of Marianna; several grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Memorial Services was held in the Mount Dora Community Church at 11 AM on Friday April 17, 2009.
