We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful man that we have known for the past twenty some years. He was the highlight of our Thursday mornigns when he came in to Takis Restaurant in Eustis. Cliff and Walter were the first to come in and then Bill and Kent were soon to follow. They were known as Cliff called them as: "The Liars club". His sense of humor and empathy for others would bring us to laughter or tears. Either way we knew our day was not complete until Cliff and his gang showed up. We were there as his second wife passed away and as one by one every member of his group also follow in her footsteps. He never wavered in his zeal for life. I have never seen someone that old be that Young at heart and also given the circumstances at the later years how he took the news of his condition so well, I thought. He would say to me that he was thankful, because when he looked around at the Nursing Home he knew he was better off than most people in there and he was Grateful that God had granted him another Day. What a wonderful soul and inspiration he was to me especially but to all that the lives he touched. Forever Grateful to have met him.
