Carol L. Hawkes 83, of Grand Island, passed away on September 9, 2017. She was born in Buffalo, New York and came here from Exton, Pennsylvania in 2006. She was a Christian. Carol was predeceased by her husband James W. Hawkes in 2015, they had been married for 62 years. She is survived by her son Jamie Hawkes of Hollywood, Florida and her daughters; Holly (Steven) Hartshorne of Morgantown, Pennsylvania and Julie (Calixto Maneuello) Hawkes of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her brother; William (Darlene) Carver of Grand Island. Carol was predeceased by one grandchild; James Hawkes.
