Carol Lee Corbett's Obituary
Carol was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Alice Elaine and Robert Snelenberger. She moved to Florida as a young girl, and graduated from Tavares High School. She spent most of her years in Eustis, where she graduated from Vo-Tech as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for many years, caring for others in nursing homes, private practices, home health, and as a program coordinator for the AIDS project through the county health program. She was married to James (Butch) Corbett on her birthday in 1970. Together, they raised their family in the home they built, surrounded by her beloved flowers, dogs...and a lot of cats. Carol loved many things. She loved her friends, her family, her weekly card games, entertaining, holidays and going to the beach. The beach was her "Happy Place". Above all, she cherished the time she shared with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her love of life, her generosity, and her quirky sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband James Corbett, Children - Son Scott & Cathie Catasus, Daughter, Dolly & Chad Perkins, Daughter, Darlene & Ed Crabtree, a special Nephew, David & Christie Giannetto, 16 Grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as her Sister Suzette Neal, and Brother Wayne Snelenberger.
A Celebration of Carol's life will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on October 16, 2021 at 11 AM. The family will greet friends after the memorial.
