Calvin J McMennamy's Obituary
Calvin J. McMennamy of Eustis passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 70. He was born in Orlando, Florida to TJ and Eloise McMennamy. Calvin proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Calvin returned to central Florida. In 1972 he went to work as a heavy equipment mechanic and quickly excelled to become one of the top experts in his field. He retired in 2012.
Calvin was a wonderful family man and an incredibly hard worker. He loved the outdoors and in his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Wanda Squires in 2013 and Kathy Berry in 2015. Calvin is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 36 years, Valecia; sons, Steven McMennamy of Tavares, Mark (Carol) Britton of Daytona, and Shane Wright of North Carolina, brothers, Clifton Joe (Carol) McMennamy of Sorrento, Sam (Sue) Swickard of Osteen, and Gary (Terry) Rhoades of Sanford; grandchildren, Kyra, Mackenzie, Denver and TJ and great-grandson, Eli.
