Bruce M. Wallace Sr.'s Obituary
Bruce M. Wallace Sr. 63, of Grand Island, passed away on April 11, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Grand Island in 2007 from Freehold, New Jersey. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora and a Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an Operations Manager for the Bank of New York Mellon / Pershing on Wall Street and later in Lake Mary, Florida. He was a member of the amputee support group at Florida Hospital Waterman. He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his wife Yvette, his children; Jeanine (Lawrence) Hjalte, ToniAnn Wallace, Bruce (Melissa) Wallace Jr., all of Freehold, New Jersey, Brock Wallace and Brynna Wallace both of Grand Island, Florida, his siblings; Clifford (Gerri) Wallace of Larkspur, Colorado, Lois DeCaro of Staten Island, New York and Walter (Lisa) Wallace also of Staten Island, and six grandchildren. Bruce was predeceased by his brother Dwight Wallace in 1994. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 13th at 9 AM. The final resting place will be Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
