Bonnie I. Bartlett of Minneola, Florida passed away on Saturday February 24, 2024, at the age of 100. She was born in Industry, Illinois on June 18, 1923. Bonnie was a member of the United States Army. She lived in Florida for 21 years, having moved here from Ohio. She spent most of her life living in Lawrence, Kansas for 40+ years. She loved listening to music & dancing. She loved roller skating in her younger years. As she aged, she filled her time doing crafts. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting & knitting. Anything with her hands. When she was younger, she worked in photography. Mostly in film development. After having her daughter, she spent her days being a housewife taking care of her home & daughter. During her retirement years she spent a lot of time traveling, especially to England. She loved to travel.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband’s Douglas Eric Arthur Bartlett of England & Ivan R Amess of Lawrence, KS & 2 beloved cats Lucky & Boots
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Pamela (Amess) Shore of Minneola, FL.
A service and interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Please check back in for additional information.
