Betty Jean Tumbleston's Obituary
Betty Jean Tumbleston of Paisley, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the age of 78 years. She was born in Lakeland, Georgia. She moved to Eustis in 1983 from Georgia and relocated to Paisley 2 years later. Betty was Baptist. She worked as a Financial Counselor at Waterman Hospital in Eustis and then at Florida Hospital Waterman for a few years before retiring. Betty loved her work. She enjoyed helping people and all the friends she made while she worked through the years. When she wasn’t working, Betty was all about her family. She loved to bake and was quite good at it. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren. Betty is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 41 years, Roger; children, Robert (Tracy) Woods of Wauchula, Debra (Robert) Hohman of Umatilla, Monteen (Cheri) Sattelmeier of Eustis, Rodney Tumbleston of Sarasota and Sissy High of Sebring; sister, Juanita Reeves of Leesburg; as well as 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial ceremony will be held at a later date. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
