Betty C. McNish's Obituary
Mrs. Betty C. McNish of Eustis passed away on Monday, October 24th, 2011 at the age of 83 years. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Grover and Etiva (Shaffer) Taylor. She and her late husband, Donald R. McNish, Sr., moved to this area in 1966 from Valrico, FL. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also involved with the Lake County Democratic Women’s Club, B.P.O.E.-Eustis Elks Lodge # 1578 and the Order of the Eastern Star-Clover Chapter of Burton, Ohio. Betty is remembered and will be dearly missed by her children, Kathleen (Michael) Dawson of Eustis; Maureen (Richard) Meslang of Bainbridge Island, Washington; Donald McNish of Tallahassee, FL; David (Bobbye) McNish of Keokuk, Iowa and Diane (Ed) Squire of Eustis; grandchildren, Kelly Dawson, David Meslang, Christine Meslang, Kristi Scholfield and Stacey Larva; and great grandchildren, Parker Scholfield, Vin Scholfield and Alexandra Larva. A memorial ceremony was held in the Hamlin Hilbish Chapel at 1 PM Monday with Rev. Stan A Beatty officiating. The final resting place is Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
