Barbara J. (Roach) Humphrey's Obituary
Barbara J. (Roach) Humphrey, 72, of Eustis passed away peacefully on January 21, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Savannah, Georgia and moved to the Eustis/Mount Dora area as a child. After graduating from Forest Lake Academy she married and was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Cassia Baptist Church and was involved throughout the years with church and community activities. She was always there with a helping hand and kindness for her family and friends.
Barbara was a beloved mother and grandmother, devoted wife and loving sister. She was preceded in death by her first husband Billy G. Roach and her parents George Gordon and Agnes Smith.
Barbara is survived by her husband John Humphrey, sons & daughters in-law: Jeff (Debbie), Greg (Michelle), Eric (Laurie), Kevin (Jill) and Buck (Eileen), 2 brothers: Richard Gordon and Tom Gordon, 2 Sisters: Ann Frankito and Sheila Ennis, 10 grandchildren: Amber, Joshua, Jesse, Jeremy, Tiffany, Haley, Billy, Holly, Hunter & Jacob, and 3 great grandchildren Jolie, Landen & Brady.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 326 E. Orange Ave, Eustis FL, on Sunday January 26, 2014, from 4 – 6pm.
Services will also be held at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 326 E. Orange Ave, Eustis FL, on Monday January 27, 2014, at 10am.
