Barbara Carlini's Obituary
Barbara Allen Carlini, age 80 of Eustis, FL., passed away January 29th, 2013. She was born on August 29th, 1932 in McDowell, Kentucky, the oldest daughter of John and Maxi Elliott. Barbara moved to Michigan with her family as a teenager and married Nazzareno Carlini December 9th, 1950, at the age of 18. She moved to Florida with Naz in 1975 from Taylor, Michigan and was very proud of her roots in the Eastern part of Kentucky. She loved the mountains, bluegrass music and relished her days gardening. Barbara’s legacy was her passion for cooking. She was a gourmet cook and her talents were much diversified in Italian & Southern cuisine, as well as many ethnic foods. She loved to entertain in the company of family and friends. Barbara worked in the food and beverage industry for many years. She then worked in clothing sales eventually managing two clothing stores and became a buyer for those stores. She was a loving and nourishing mother and grandmother. Survivors include: brother, Mont Elliott of TX., daughters, Joanna Carlini of Longwood, FL., MaryLou Joinville of Houston, TX., Terry L. Loroesh of Casselberry, FL., and Janet C. Carlini of Clermont, FL., son, Jerry J. Carlini of Leesburg, FL., Six Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Celebration will be held for friends & family at The Country Club Manor clubhouse in Eustis, Florida on February 10th, 2013.
