Augusta Sue Arnall's Obituary
Augusta Sue Arnall passed to her Father in Heaven November 25, 2015 after suffering a long and worsening fight with the serious brain disorder, Parkinson’s with Lewy Bodies. She spent her younger High School years in Madera, California living with her parents on a ranch. Later after moving to Fresno as a young woman she began a long career in the Hospitality Industry working with the Convention Bureau and later Hotel Management. She spent the next 30 years as a Sales Manager and General Manager of properties like Holiday Inn and Embassy Suits where she established a reputation for being a great mentor.
In addition to running hotels, Augusta was a great mom and homemaker. She has 4 wonderful, now adult children, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was married to Frank Arnall. Frank and Augusta have lived in the Salt Lake Area for 14 years after being transferred from Monterey, California by her company to renovate the historic Perry Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Frank and Augusta are members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City where Augusta was active in running the food pantry there in earlier years. She was an active member of Rotary International in San Luis Obispo, California and again here in Salt Lake City before retiring.
Memorial services were held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00pm, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 261 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT.
Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis, Florida on Wednesday, February 17th at 2 PM.
