So sorry for your loss. Must have been a great gentleman and veteran. I never had the honor of knowing Art, but have heard great things about him. I am a friend of Cathy and Randy Clark.

I am Arts neighbor to the right. I met Art 5 years ago. A man to be respected and honored. I loved to visit with he and Gail in their home. A huge smile and almost a laugh would appear on his face when his memory went back in time with something he wanted to share with me. The stories of he and Gail's life were fascinating and made me envious. They shared many good memories together, I think probably more than the average bear...
4:00 was my time to drop in. Never leaving before 6! Once he said, well its
6 o'clock.. My visits were timeless.
I thank him for serving my country and know he did noting but his best in all that he did. Proud, caring and ever so gentle. He wiggled his way into my heart.
Rest in Peace Art. Nancy
Papa is going to be greatly missed. He had a tremendous supporting group of family and friends, and hardly uttered a negative word, other than an occasional "getting old is no fun", despite numerous physical limitations the last few years. His mind was still sharp enough to provide minute details of his WWII experiences, though, and he still liked to get in an occasional dig against the Gators when I was around.
He was my father figure for practically my entire adult life but, more importantly, was a wonderful husband to my mother.
We know you're in a better place now...God Bless.
