Anthony "Tony" Ernest Marchesseault's Obituary
Anthony 'Tony" Ernest Marchesseault, 70, a United States Marine veteran, died Monday morning May 9, 2022 with his wife, Susan at his bedside. Tony was born November 2, 1951 in Houston, Texas, the 5th child of Tony and Rose Marchesseault. As the 5th child, Tony was the middle child, between 4 older siblings, 2 brothers, (Paul Marchesseault and Philip Marchesseault) and 2 sisters, (Gloria Beekman and Jeanne Allen [predeceased]) and 3 younger sisters, Rose Mary Bossman, Eva Hoopes and Lina Marchesseault [predeceased]. Throughout his life, Tony valued education and learning. He graduated from FSU in 1977 and Pepperdine University in 1980 with degrees in Business and Human Resource Management respectively. As an entrepreneur (President of Eagle Training Group) and adjunct college professor, he taught and coached innumerable people in a variety of settings nationally and internationally, focusing on personal growth, development of management skills, team building, communication, strategic planning, customer service and more.
Tony was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Community in Eustis. Tony was an avid reader and loved history, nature, photography, technology, and always explored how to do things most efficiently. Humor and good will were the foundation of his personality and life. Survivors include his wife, Susan (Orrill) Marchesseault, and sons, Brian Marchesseault of Taylorsville, KY and Daniel Marchesseault of Minot, ND; grandchildren, Ryan and Sage; brothers, Paul Marchesseault of Pensacola, FL, Philip Marchesseault of Bonita Springs, FL; sisters, Gloria Beekman of Middle Island, NY, Rose Mary Bossman of The Villages, FL, and Eva Hoopes of Wesley Chapel, FL; and many special bother/sisters-in law, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 20 at 10 am at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis with internment following at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Eustis. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory may be made to Poodle and Pooch Rescue of Florida, www.poodleandpoochrescue.org or the Humane Society of Lake County, www.humanelake.com
