Anna B. Dunn's Obituary
Ann Dunn, 93, formerly of Orlando and Mt. Plymouth, Florida, passed away on January 21, 2015, in Fairfax, Virginia. Services will be held Monday, January 26 at 11 a.m., at Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia.
Anna Belle Burdette was born on August 24, 1921, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Margaret and Monroe Burdette. She graduated from Scott High School in Madison, West Virginia and attended the Kanawha Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Charleston. She worked as a registered nurse at several hospitals in Charleston, West Virginia, Dayton, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida. She was married to Robert Dunn, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Sorrento Presbyterian Church, Sorrento, Florida, where she served as an elder. She resided with her daughter, Susan, during the last several years of her life as she suffered with Alzheimer's Disease.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Wedan of Centreville, Virginia; son, Robert Dunn and wife Sandy of Norcross, GA; grandchildren Sarah (Vlad) Brun of Manassas, Virginia; Julie (Andrew) Johnson of Alexandria, Virginia; and Dylan Wedan of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, January 26th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia.
Graveside services will be held in Sorrento Cemetery on Saturday, January 31st at 11 AM with Dr. Alan J. Holden officiating.
