Ann B. Lyons April 5, 1939 – December 23, 2024
Ann B. Lyons, age 85, of Grand Island, Florida, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2024. Born on April 5, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of Garnet and Howard Dunlap.
Ann married the love of her life, Patrick Daniel Lyons, on July 24, 1984. Their 40 years together were a testament to enduring love and devotion. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Deridre Diane Bayshore; and her beloved husband, Patrick. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara McChesney of Debary, Florida, her son, Jeffery Napier of Sanford, Florida. Lovingly known as "Grannie Annie" she is survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Known for quick wit and sense of humor, Ann was a beacon of joy and love in her family’s lives. She was immensely proud of her family and cherished every opportunity to celebrate their achievements and milestones.
Ann had a servant’s heart which she blessed the community with. She served as President of the Ladies Fleet Reserve Association, volunteered as a Pink Lady at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida, and dedicated her time to The Sharing Center. She was also a devoted member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Leesburg, Florida, where her love for God and others shone brightly in all she did.
Her hobbies reflected her zest for life and her love for family. Ann enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, indulging in Food Network and game shows with her loved ones, reading, working on puzzles, taking cruises and traveling with Pat, and dressing up in anything that sparkled.
Ann’s unwavering faith was her foundation, and she deeply loved her church family. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her Savior and her beloved Patrick. Her life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, faith, and service to others.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 326 East Orange Avenue, Eustis, Florida, from 1:00pm. to 2:00 p.m., followed by an interment at Lakeside Memory Gardens.
Ann’s legacy as a loving wife, mother, “Grannie Annie”, and servant of God will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While her absence will be deeply felt, her family finds solace in knowing she now rests in the embrace of her Savior, enveloped in eternal love and peace.
A celebration of Ann's life will be held at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 326 East Orange Avenue, Eustis, Florida, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a service and interment at Lakeside Memory Gardens Monday December 30, 2024.

Parking for Hamlin & Hilbish will be across the street in the parking lot next to Lake Eustis Christian Church. There will be cones, a sign, and possible police assistance with crossing. For those unable to walk across the street there will be parking in the back.
