Sallie, I am unable to attend the funeral--memorial service for Andy. Through the years, I enjoyed the friendship of the Dillard-Wallace families. When Kelly, Sallie and family moved to Montezuma, GA, I lost contact with Andy and Rana as young adults; however the Dillard cousins kept me informed with stories of family accomplishments and achievements. I spent an afternoon years ago with Andy, Sallie, Kelly and Rana by the pool at their Lake Yale home just sitting around chitchatting...somehow Andy and I started exchanging comical rapid fire one-liners. It went on for at least 15 minutes, it was hysterical and a brilliant moment I will never forget. I will miss him and his wicked sense of humor, gone too soon. Peace be with you Andy. And Sallie and Rana as well.
