Allen Thomas' Obituary
Allen Thomas 70, of Altoona, passed away on June 10, 2014. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland and moved here from Clearwater in 1996. He was a retired truck driver and a protestant. Allen was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army and a member of the D.A.V. He is survived by his wife Terri, they were married for 27 years, also surviving are his children Valorie Thomas of Savannah, Georgia and Steven Thomas of Gainesville Georgia, his sister Cody Vest of Nashville, Tennessee and two grandchildren. Memorial services with Military Honors will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel at 10 AM Friday; the Lake County Honor Guard will officiate. The final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery
