Alfred Joseph Forsythe's Obituary
Alfred Joseph Forsythe 84, of Tavares, passed away on September 21, 2019. He was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Lake County in 2004 from South Hill, Virginia. He was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a District Manager for General Motors and served as a Florida Highway Patrolman. He will be deeply missed by his wife Sue, they were married for 62 years. Also surviving are his children; Michael John Forsythe of Deltona, Florida and Michelle Bridgeman (Robert) of Tavares, his sisters; Margaret Hamelinck of Syracuse, New York and Barbara Vine of New York, his grandchildren; Amber Mills, Brittany Van Kesteren, Robert Bridgeman, Dawn Forsythe, Bryce Bridgeman, Alex Bridgeman and Logan Bridgeman and his great grandchildren; Joshua Mills, Gary Mills, Louis Mills, Maya Van Kesteren and Zowi Van Kesteren. Memorial services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, October 5th at 10 AM with Jason McCreary, Minister officiating. The final resting place will be Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. In lieu of flowers please direct memorials to the Church of Christ Building Fund, 4501 N. HWY 19 A, Mount Dora, FL 32757.
