He is survived by his partner Andrew Coyle, his parents, Donna and Shane Carroll of Wytheville, Virginia, his dogs; Lip and Gambit, his father; Garrison Mitchell Nelson of Jonesboro, Tennessee, maternal grandparents; John and Barbara Fox of Wytheville, paternal grandmother; Penny Copper of Wytheville, paternal grandparents: Dave Nelson of Greenville, Tennessee and Virginia Nelson of Jonesboro, Tennessee, his brothers; Alex Nelson of Yulee, Florida and Brentlee Rigney of Ocala, Florida.
