“The services that my family received from this funeral home was and is outstanding. They’ve taken care of 3 of my family members and we are so grateful for the kindness, care, respect and way they took care of my family members. My family and I are so grateful for their service. I have recommended them to others and plan to continue to do so. If you want your loved ones to look beautiful or even if they are cremated this is where you want go. Oh and cost is great they do not rip you off or try to use every penny of your insurance policy. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful they are. If you use their services you will not be disappointed.”

“The experience I had with Emily was so kind. Not only to me, but to my mother. I know anything in the funerary business is difficult, and need is usually unexpected and painful, but Emily was there for the entire process. Her updates were always kind, concise, and clear. The obituary she wrote from asking some basic questions (that I gave rambling answers to) was a thing of beautiful She found a way to keep me from having to give my mother an indigent cremation. She has been nothing but kind, sympathetic, understanding, caring, and appropriately funny to work with. I cannot stress the last part enough! She understood my personal needs, as well. Not many people in many service areas take that into account. In short, Emily was wonderful from start to finish. I felt entirely involved, but entirely cared for, and walked through everything. The compassion was amazing, and I could not have gotten myself the level of care and respect my mother deserved through this difficult time.”

“I cannot speak more positively about our experience with Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home. My husband and I felt it was time to have our affairs in order and that included purchasing our burial plots. David Sawyer, the family service manager was extremely helpful. He listened intently to our concerns and our ideas of what we wanted and what we did not want. He explained everything clearly and at no time did we ever feel pressured into going in a different direction than what we wanted. By the end of our meeting we felt a sense of relief knowing that our children would not have the burden of taking on the responsibility of preparing our funeral arrangements. As I was leaving, I told David that I almost felt guilty for all the laughing we did in planning for such a somber event. I would highly recommend Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home.”
