Robert "Bob" E. Rogers

Robert E. “Bob” Rogers of Mount Dora, formerly of Eustis, Florida passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 85 years. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Eustis from Dallas, Texas in 1998. Bob proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He later worked in Quality Assurance for AAFES, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed working on his computer and was quite proficient at it. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann on December 30, 2020 after 47 years of marriage; his parents, John Wesley and Sarah Jane Rogers; sisters, Mary Reed and Mildred Woodall; brother, Thomas Rogers; and his granddaughter, April Camp. Bob is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughters, Kristine (Bill) Putnam of Deltona, Florida, Kimberly Thornhill of Mount Dora, Florida, Barbara (Joe) Ladin of Pine Mountain Club, California, Melodie (Tom) Russell of Georgia, and Deborah Rogers of California; sons, Russell Rogers of Redding, California and Randall Rogers of Red Buff, California; sister, Ann Clack of Smyrna, Georgia; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home for visitation on Thursday, October 28 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the chapel ceremony at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
