He is survived by his significant other; Jewel Benson, his children; Joseph Edgeworth and Christina Edgeworth both of Florida and Matthew McDonald, his siblings; Arthur Wertman of Ansonia, Connecticut, Daniel Wertman of Derby Connecticut, Anthony Maida of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Emma Rivenburg of Catskill, New York, Adelia (Sam) Maida of Beacon Falls, Connecticut and Linda Wertman of Ansonia, Connecticut. Neil was predeceased by two sisters; Eleanor Pennington and Sharon Rhine.
