A true hero in the faith has entered Glory! Oh what an example of faith, obedience and perseverance in the battle over this present darkness. He has withstood intense persecution and stands today with His proud savior and his beaming father. My favorite memory of John was his attendance at a baby shower; invited by a precious patient of CHOICES Women’s clinic. She said if all the people she could invite, she wanted John, the one who had directed her to CHOICES and saved her baby’s life. This was John’s time to BEAM! What a light he is! I can’t wait to watch him in heaven, enjoying spending endless time with the many he assisted Jesus in saving!!!

John would come to the concerts that Olga and I would give at Oakmonte Village. He would sit at the table near the front and cheer us on. His warmth and sincere appreciation of the music we offered meant so much to us. He would record our concerts and play them repeatedly for days. We will miss him tremendously; but rejoice that He is with the Savior he loved and served so well.

What a life well lived. One God given gift John had that he may have not even have noticed was the ability to say the right thing to the right person at the right time. If someone at the mill needed grace, he gave it, the next person may need the hard truths of Jesus, and the next may need the serrated edge. He was able to switch without ever knowing the person and it was always the right thing they needed to hear. I never mentioned it to him because it's kind of like not talking to your pitcher in the middle of a no-hitter, but it was just one of the means God used in him.

We would sit on the wall sometime just me and him and talk theological issues and evangelism how I felt it was best for me to witness at UCF to the students to prayerfully never have to go to the the Hole of the women center
